Heavily textured, rippled glass forms a rectangular shade, mounted over a warm brass-coloured backplate. The ice-like surface refracts the light from the central tubular bulb, casting a rich, sparkling ambient glow with a note of vintage elegance.
Like light through a frosted winter pane, the rippled glass turns an ordinary wall into something luminous and textural. It suits a hallway or staircase beautifully, where a series of them creates a glittering path, and lends a touch of old-world romance beside the bed. The warm brass-coloured backplate glows behind the ice-like glass, so even unlit it holds a soft, vintage elegance.
As a guide, mount at around 1.5–1.7 m from the floor in hallways and living spaces, or slightly lower beside a bed so the light falls softly at reading height.
